1. GRANT OF LICENSE

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Data TB™ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the Software on the number of devices permitted by your purchased license plan;
• Use the Software solely for your personal or internal business purposes;
• Access updates and new versions released during your active license period.

This license is granted for the duration of your purchased plan (1 Month, 6 Months, 1 Year, 2 Years, or 3 Years depending on the product). Upon expiry, your right to use the Software terminates unless renewed.

The free trial version of the Software is licensed for evaluation purposes only and may include functional limitations such as output caps or watermarked results.

2. LICENSE RESTRICTIONS

You may NOT, under any circumstances:

• (a) Copy, reproduce, or distribute the Software or any part of it to any third party;
• (b) Sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or transfer the Software or your license key to another person or organization;
• (c) Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software or any component thereof;
• (d) Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software;
• (e) Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained in or displayed by the Software;
• (f) Use the Software to build, train, or improve any competing software product or service;
• (g) Use a single license on more devices than permitted under your plan;
• (h) Create multiple accounts or download multiple trial versions to circumvent trial limitations;
• (i) Use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Any violation of these restrictions will result in immediate termination of your license without notice and without refund.

3. OWNERSHIP & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Software is licensed, not sold.

Data TB™ retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights — copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents.

Purchasing a license grants you the right to use the Software under these terms. It does not transfer ownership of the Software or any part of it to you.

"Data TB™" and associated product names and logos are trademarks of Data TB™. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without prior written consent.

4. DATA PRIVACY & LOCAL PROCESSING

Data TB™ desktop applications are designed to process all data locally on your own device.

The Software does not upload, transmit, or send your files, emails, mailbox data, source code, or any payload content to Data TB™ servers or any third-party server.

All processing occurs on your machine or your organization's private infrastructure.

The Software may connect to Data TB™ servers only for the following limited purposes:

• License key activation and validation;
• Checking for available software updates;
• Sending anonymized error reports (if explicitly enabled by you).

No personal files, email content, or payload data is transmitted as part of these connections.

5. FREE TRIAL

Data TB™ provides a free trial version of the Software for evaluation purposes.

The trial version may include the following limitations:

• Output caps — e.g. up to 40 items per folder for conversion and migration tools;
• Watermarks — e.g. trial watermarks on protected assemblies for obfuscation tools;
• Other functional restrictions as described on the relevant product page.

The trial version is provided to allow you to evaluate the Software before purchase. Use of the trial version for production purposes at full scale is not permitted under this license.

One free trial is permitted per person or organization per product. Creating multiple accounts or identities to extend trial access is a violation of this Agreement.

6. UPDATES & UPGRADES

During your active license period, you are entitled to receive updates and improvements to the Software released by Data TB™ at no additional cost.

Updates will be made available through the Software's built-in update check or via the Data TB™ website.

Data TB™ reserves the right to modify, improve, or discontinue any feature of the Software at any time. We will endeavor to notify active users of significant changes.

Upgrades to a higher product tier or a different product require a separate license purchase.

7. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

The Software may include or rely on third-party open-source libraries or components. Where applicable, such components are governed by their respective open-source licenses.

In the event of any conflict between the terms of this EULA and the terms of an applicable open-source license, the open-source license shall prevail with respect to that specific component.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Data TB™ and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Software;
• Your violation of any term of this Agreement;
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party right;
• Any data you process using the Software, including any claim that such data infringes the rights of a third party.

11. TERMINATION

This Agreement is effective from the date you first install or use the Software and continues until terminated.

Data TB™ may terminate this Agreement immediately and without notice if:

• You breach any term of this Agreement;
• You attempt to circumvent, crack, or bypass the Software's licensing or activation system;
• You use the Software for illegal purposes;
• You engage in fraudulent activity related to purchase or refund claims.

Upon termination:

• All rights granted under this Agreement cease immediately;
• You must uninstall and delete all copies of the Software from your devices;
• No refund will be issued for termination due to breach.

You may terminate this Agreement voluntarily at any time by uninstalling the Software. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

12. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

In the event of any dispute arising from or related to this Agreement or the Software, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct communication with Data TB™ at contact@datatbs.com.

We prefer resolving issues fairly and quickly — without legal proceedings wherever possible.

13. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable — or removed entirely if modification is not possible — without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This EULA, together with the Data TB™ Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Data TB™ regarding the Software and supersedes all prior agreements, representations, and understandings — written or verbal — relating to the subject matter herein.

15. AMENDMENTS

Data TB™ reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time.

Updated versions will be posted at: https://www.datatbs.com/eula

Continued use of the Software after an updated EULA is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

For significant changes, active users will be notified via email where possible.
