Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
1. Our Commitment to Zero Data Storage
At Data TB, we operate on a strict Zero Data Store Architecture. This means our platform is designed to handle authentication and facilitate direct point-to-point data streaming without ever storing your files, emails, or personal data payloads on our servers. You maintain complete sovereignty over your data during migration, backup, and restore operations.
2. Information We Collect
Because we do not store your payload data, the information we collect is strictly limited to what is necessary for the operation of our service:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, and billing information used to create and manage your Data TB account.
- Authentication Tokens: Temporary OAuth tokens used solely to facilitate the secure transfer between your authorized cloud environments. These are securely encrypted and automatically discarded upon session completion.
- Telemetry and Logs: High-level metadata regarding job status (e.g., success/failure rates, transfer speeds, error codes) for troubleshooting. We do not log filenames, contents, or directory structures.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information we collect exclusively to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our authentication and routing infrastructure.
- Process your transactions and send related information, including confirmations and receipts.
- Send technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
- Respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests.
4. Data Security
Although we do not store your workload data, security is our foundational priority. All control-plane traffic is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS 1.3. We employ military-grade AES-256 encryption for any transient authentication keys, which are heavily restricted by robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls. Our local restore tools are signed, verified, and run entirely within your secure boundary.
5. Third-Party Services
Data TB acts as a bridge between third-party services (such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, etc.). Our privacy policy does not apply to these third-party services. We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policies of the cloud platforms you are connecting to understand how they handle your data at rest.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, depending on the specific changes, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification).
